Product:

This product provides most commonly used forms, video explanations of how to complete the forms, two 30-minute consultations, document review by an attorney, and product technical support.

How to Use:

This product is useful when Purchaser needs help getting the case started or Purchaser needs legal advice and guidance to determine how to move forward in the case.  

Purchasers may also choose to use this product at any time during a legal case where advice or document review may be beneficial to the purchaser. 

Schedule a Consultation:

Purchaser is entitled two 30-minute legal consultations. Those consultations may be used in whatever way the purchaser deems appropriate to discuss the case. However, if Purchaser   exceeds the allotted time or needs additional consultations, there may be an additional fee.

Consultation No Shows and Late Arrivals: If Purchaser schedules a consultation and fails show up to the consultation, the consultation   will be count towards one of the two consultations.

Late Arrivals: If Purchaser arrives   late to the consultation, the consultation may be counted as a no show after   10 minutes and no consultation may be conducted. If Purchaser arrives late to the consultation but prior to 10 minutes late, the consultation will continue   as scheduled and end at the schedule end time. No additional time will be allotted.

Cancellation: All cancellations must be completed 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of the consultation or Purchaser may forfeit the consultation.

Best use of Consultations: The best use of a consultation will vary depending on what is needed.

A. Don’t know where to start -

1. The first consultation should be scheduled very soon to get advice on the best way to proceed with filing or continuing the case.

2. Use the second consultation to discuss strategy and how to proceed in the case.

B. Know where to start but need some guidance -

1. Use consultations as needed to get guidance on parts of the litigation process (i.e., use of discovery, evidence, testifying, cross-examination, and other techniques).

C. Don’t really need a consultation -

1. At least one of the consultations should be used by Purchaser to ensure that the product is used correctly and to ensure the purchaser has not overlooked anything.

How to Schedule   a Consultation: Schedule early to ensure that Purchaser gets a time slot that meets Purchaser’s time frames. 

Purchaser may schedule the consultation online at the provided link or by phone.

Document Review:

After Purchaser   follows the relevant instructions to complete the correct documents, Purchaser   should email or fax the documents to Family First Legal for review. 

This product   entitles the purchaser to one regular document review and one follow-up document review of any documents that need to be altered within timeframe for document review.

All documents will be reviewed and returned to Purchaser with notes and/or corrections within 1-7 business days. Family First Legal will make all efforts to return most   documents within 1-2 business days.

Product Support:

Product support is provided by support staff members and not by an attorney. Therefore, product support will not be able to provide any legal advice. Product support is only available during normal business hours.

What can product support do?

1. Help to locate and access certain products;

2. Help with technical   glitches; and

3. Answer questions about how the product works.

Discounts: 

By purchasing this product, Purchaser is entitled to a 5-10% discount on other legal services   or hourly representation that is purchased and/or agreed to between Purchaser and Family First Legal within the next 180 days after the current purchase.

Disclaimers:

Court Forms: Any court forms utilized with this product are property of Maryland Courts and are not   in any way associated with Family First Legal. The cost of this product does not include any charge for court forms created by Maryland Courts.

Other Forms: Any forms or   documents created by Family First Legal are the property of Family First   Legal. The forms or documents are provided for use by the product Purchaser and may not be shared with other individuals by the purchaser. 

Payment: Payment for this product is deemed earned at the moment of purchase and is not contingent upon use of the entire product or any portion of the product.

Refunds: Refunds are NOT available for these products. 

Discounts: The discount is based on the current price or rate of the representation at the time of   the request. The offer of the discount does not bind Family First Legal to represent or otherwise agree to provide legal services to any Purchaser.  The decision to represent and/or provide any additional services to the purchaser will be in the sole discretion of Family First Legal. 

Consultations: Purchaser should schedule any consultation early before they are needed to ensure that Purchaser obtains a time slot that works with Purchaser’s schedule. Family First Legal takes no responsibility for missed court dates or time frames. 

Timeframe: This product is valid for 45 days from the date of purchase. All consultations and document reviews within the scope of this product shall be requested and completed within a 45-day time frame. Failure to use any or all of the product in the timeframe allotted does not entitle the user to a refund or any additional services. 

Risk: Choosing to file a case without attorney representation always creates a risk that Purchaser   may fail to have or make a good case. By utilizing this product, Purchaser understands that Family First Legal is not liable for any misuse of this product or any specific outcome in any legal case. Even with perfect use of the tools this product offers, no case outcome is guaranteed.
